MediaWorks
has the flexibility to present content in numerous ways. One
approach is to make slide shows that can be navigated using
the keyboard Arrow keys. To create this type of slide show,
simply drag in your images and sequence them with the General
Preferences Auto-Sequence Overlap set to zero.
Be
sure to uncheck "Auto-Start Scene" from the Scene-Attributes
dialog so that when you play your project, it will wait for
the Arrow keys.
You
can also export the Scene as an unrendered QuickTime movie
and when the movie is played in the QuickTime Player, navigate
your slide show by pressing the Right Arrow key. To move backwards,
press the Left Arrow key.
With
this type of slide show, you can't use transitions or background
audio. However, a nice aspect is that the duration of the
images doesn't matter. Simply use the default one-second for
Picture duration and with Auto-Start Scene unchecked, you
will have an easy-to-navigate slide show playable across Mac
Classic, Mac OS X and Windows.
